Commentary: While Avengers: Endgame is not a true 'woke' movie as such, it does have elements of diversity and representation in the large ensemble cast. On the feminism front, it has a higher score as it does prominently feature strong-featured women such as Black Widow and Captain Marvel, even including a moment of the female heroes uniting in the final battle. However, it is not a chick-flick, centered more on action, adventure, and super-heroics than romances and personal relationships.
