Commentary: Inferno contains very little in terms of explicit modern progressive ideology, aside from some broadly applicable themes about organized power and the dangers of fanaticism. However, it lacks a focused ideological framing or significant LGBTQ representation. The film does not emphasize female-led narratives or gender ideologies prominently, and while it has strong characters, it does not overall support a feminist agenda. Emotional or romantic arcs are not central to the story and are instead overshadowed by action and mystery elements. Thus, it rates low on all counts.
